  • 10 medium potatoes, cooked, peeled and cubed
  • 2 cans mushroom or celery soup
  • 2 cups milk or evaporated milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 onion, chopped, sauteed
  • 1 1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. crisp real bacon bits
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • butter

Directions

    Place potatoes in casserole dish.

    Mix soup and milk until smooth.

    Add salt, pepper, onion and 1 c. cheese.

    Add to potatoes. On top, place remaining cheese, bacon bits and bread crumbs.

    Dot with butter.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
