- 3 c. corn, cut from cob
- 1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. water
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3 drops hot sauce
- 1/4 c. (1 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Combine corn and water in a medium saucepan.

2Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 7 to 8 minutes or just until corn is tender; drain.

3Add butter, mustard, salt, pepper and hot sauce to corn.

4Blend well.

5Cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated. Stir in cheese; serve immediately.

6Yields 4 servings.
