- 1 lb. crabmeat
- 1/4 lb. margarine
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 1 c. hot milk (boiling)
- 1 egg, beaten
- pinch of pepper
- 3 Tbsp. flour (heaping)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Directions

1Melt oleo in shallow pan.

2Add onion and cook until softened (not brown).

3Put in flour.

4Remove from stove and blend in boiled milk.

5Add beaten egg.

6Reheat until thickened and well blended. Add crabmeat.

7Cool and form into cakes.

8Dip patties into 1 beaten egg or more if needed.

9Dip in bread crumbs.

10Fry until brown.
