Deviled Crab In Shell

Ingredients
- 1 lb. crab meat
- 1 small green pepper
- 1 small onion
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. brandy
- 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
- 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. white sauce
- 1 Tbsp. bread crumbs
Directions

1In a saucepan, saute the green pepper which has been trimmed and finely chopped.

2Also saute the chopped onion in butter for 10 minutes.

3Stir frequently.

4Remove the pan from the heat and stir in 2 tablespoons brandy, 1 tablespoon each dry and prepared mustard, 1/2 teaspoon salt and the white sauce.

5Stir in the crab meat and bread crumbs.

6Heat over low heat.

7Stir gently.

8Spoon into shells.

9Sprinkle tops with bread crumbs and dot with butter. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes.

10Brown tops under the broiler for a few minutes.

11Serves 4 to 6.
