Deviled Steak Strips

- 1 1/2 lb. round steak
- 1/4 c. onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 c. tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. horseradish
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Cut beef into thin strips about 2 inches long and coat with flour.

2In treated skillet, brown meat, onion and garlic.

3Stir in 1 cup water, tomato sauce, vinegar, horseradish, mustard and pepper.

4Cover and simmer for 1 hour (or until meat is tender); stirring occasionally.

5Stir in remaining 1/2 cup water, scraping browned bits from bottom of pan; heat through.

6Serve over noodles or rice.
