Ingredients
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 14 oz. can mushroom stems and pieces
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Combine flour, salt, pepper and dry mustard.

2Sprinkle mixture over round steak and pound into meat with a meat mallet.

3In heavy skillet, brown steak slowly on both sides in hot oil.

4Drain off excess fat.

5Drain mushrooms.

6Keep liquid.

7Add water if needed to 1/2 cup.

8Add mushroom liquid and Worcestershire sauce to meat in skillet.

9Cover tightly and cook over low heat for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours or until tender.

10During the last few minutes, add mushrooms and heat through.

11Skim any fat from pan juices before serving.

12Garnish with parsley, if desired. Serves 6 to 8.
