- 16 large prunes, pitted
- 1 cup dry red wine
- 2 ounces mango chutney
- 16 slices lean streaky bacon
- colman's prepared English mustard
Directions

1Combine prunes and wine in a bowl and allow to soak at least 4 hours.

2Preheat oven broiler.

3Drain prunes and stuff each with equal amountsof the chutney.

4Wrap each prune with bacon and secure with toothpicks which have been soaked in water.

5Brush each with a light coat of mustard.

6Arrange on a slotted broiler pan and broil 5 inched from heat till bacon is crispy, about 10 minutes, turning once.

7Drain briefly on paper towels.
