Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 4 Tbsp. or 1/2 cube margarine
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 oz. or 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 1/4 c. warm milk
- strawberry jam
- whipped cream
Directions

1Cut margarine into warm flour (leave out at room temperature overnight).

2Add yeast creamed in a little milk and salt.

3Mix to a soft dough with the flour mixture.

4Knead well and return to bowl to rise in a warm place.

5After rising, turn it over, knead again and roll out to 3/4 inch thickness.

6Cut of pieces and roll into rounds.

7Place onto lightly greased tin.

8Leave to rise until the splits have doubled.

9Bake in hot oven, 450°, for 10 to 15 minutes.

10Serve with strawberry jam and cream.
