- 6 pared, sliced apples
- 1 (6 oz.) can frozen apple juice
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 unbaked pie crusts
Directions

1Fill pie shell with sliced apples.

2Heat apple juice to boiling.

3Dissolve cornstarch in water.

4Stir into hot juice. Cook until thick.

5Add spices to juice mixture and pour over apples.

6Dot with butter.

7Cover with top crust.

8Bake at 425° for 45 minutes.
