- unbaked 2-crust pie shell
- 5 or 6 pared, sliced apples
- 6 oz. can frozen apple juice
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. water
- cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Fill pie shell with sliced apples.

2Heat apple juice to boiling.

3Dissolve cornstarch in water and stir into hot juice. Cook until thickened.

4Sprinkle cinnamon over apples.

5Dot with butter.

6Pour juice over all and cover with upper crust.

7Prick crust.

8Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.

9Reduce heat to 350° and bake until done, 35 to 45 minutes.
