- 1 lb. ground round
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato puree
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
- 4 oz. Mozzarella cheese, cut in strips
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach
- 6 oz. cottage cheese
Directions

1Saute beef and onions.

2Drain off fat.

3Add puree, basil, parsley, oregano, salt, pepper and mushrooms.

4Thaw spinach and squeeze out water.

5Combine spinach and cottage cheese.

6In a 9-inch square or 7 x 11-inch dish, arrange in layers:

7spinach mixture, meat mixture and cheese.

8Repeat, ending with cheese. Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
