  • 6 slices bread, buttered and cubed
  • 1/2 lb. sharp cheese (not processed), broken up and sprinkled alternately with bread
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 c. milk (scant)
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard

Directions

    Into a well buttered baking dish, put bread and cheese.

    Beat eggs, milk and dry mustard slightly and pour over bread and cheese.

    Bake in a 325° oven for 3/4 hour or until firm.
