Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground turkey, browned
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 tsp. each basil and oregano
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 (15 oz.) can peeled tomatoes (uncooked)
- 5 lasagna noodles
- 4 oz. grated Mozzarella cheese
- 1 can drained or 8 oz. fresh mushrooms
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 6 oz. tomato paste
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Combine all ingredients, except uncooked noodles and cheese. Simmer for 15 minutes.

2Pour 1/2 of mixture in a 13 x 9-inch pan. Layer 5 uncooked noodles in pan; add the remaining mixture and sprinkle cheese.

3Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
