Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground turkey, browned
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 tsp. each basil and oregano
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 (15 oz.) can peeled tomatoes (uncooked)
  • 5 lasagna noodles
  • 4 oz. grated Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 can drained or 8 oz. fresh mushrooms
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 6 oz. tomato paste
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Combine all ingredients, except uncooked noodles and cheese. Simmer for 15 minutes.

    Pour 1/2 of mixture in a 13 x 9-inch pan. Layer 5 uncooked noodles in pan; add the remaining mixture and sprinkle cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
