Ingredients

  • 1 (2 1/2 or 3 lb.) chicken, cooked and boned
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1/2 c. or 1 stick oleo, melted
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. cooking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 can cream of celery soup

    Put boned chicken in casserole.

    Put chopped celery over chicken.

    Pour melted oleo over chicken and celery.

    Mix flour and dry ingredients with the milk.

    Pour flour mixture over chicken. Mix cream of celery soup with 1/4 cup chicken stock.

    Pour over chicken.

    Bake at 425° for 50 minutes.

    Serve with green beans and corn.
