- 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 pkg. active dry yeast
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
- 2 tsp. dill weed
- 1/4 c. softened margarine or shortening
- 2 1/4 c. hot tap water
- cooking oil
Directions

1Measure flour.

2Combine 2 cups flour, undissolved yeast, sugar, salt, onion and dill weed in large bowl.

3Stir to blend. Add margarine and hot tap water.

4Beat with mixer at medium speed for 2 minutes.

5Scrape bowl occasionally.

6Add 1 more cup of flour; beat with electric mixer at high speed for 1 minute or until thick and elastic.

7Stir in enough remaining flour with wooden spoon to make soft dough.
