- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
- 2 tsp. dill seed
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 1/4 c. plain flour
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water; add cottage cheese and egg.

2Add remaining ingredients and knead lightly.

3Let rise until double in bulk.

4Punch down and knead.

5Put into greased 1 1/2-quart round baking dish.

6Let rise about 1 hour.

7Bake in 300° oven until golden brown, about 45 minutes.

8Brush with butter and sprinkle with salt.
