- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 2 tsp. dill seed
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1 unbeaten egg
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1/2 Tbsp. minced onion
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. sifted flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Combine in mixing bowl the next 8 ingredients.

3Add yeast mixture and flour.

4Stir well to combine.

5Let rise in greased bowl to double in size.

6Punch down. Put into two 7 x 3-inch or one 9 x 5-inch well-greased bread pans.

7Let rise again about 45 to 50 minutes.

8Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes.

9Remove from pans and brush with melted butter.
