- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. small curd cottage cheese
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. whole dill seed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. flour, sifted
- 1/4 tsp. soda
Directions

1Soften yeast in water.

2Combine cheese, sugar, onion, oleo, dill seed and salt in saucepan.

3Heat, but do not boil.

4Let cool. Add dissolved yeast and egg. Combine flour and soda.

5Add liquids to flour and stir.

6Let set until dough has doubled in size. Turn dough out on floured board and knead for 1 minute. Divide into 2 loaves and let double in size again. Bake at 350°. Butter tops of loaves and sprinkle with seasoned salt.
