  • 2 pared cucumbers
  • 1 c. white vinegar
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. dill

Directions

    Up to one week before serving, slice cucumbers very thinly. In saucepan, combine white vinegar, granulated sugar, water, salt and dill.

    Bring to a boil.

    Pour over cucumber slices in 1-quart jar.

    Cover tightly.

    Makes 1 quart.

    (I slice onions thinly and put in jar.)
