  • 3 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. salt (canning)
  • 1/2 tsp. alum
  • sprigs of fresh dill

    Bring to boil water, vinegar and salt. Pour over cucumbers in sterilized jars. Add alum and dill to each quart; seal.
