  • 1 qt. vinegar
  • 1 c. salt

    Pack pickles in jars and add 3 teaspoons dill seed, 1/4 teaspoon alum and 1 clove of garlic.

    Combine water, vinegar and salt and heat until boiling.

    Pour boiling mixture over pickles and seal.
