  • 4 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. salt
  • 1 tsp. alum (in bottom of each jar)
  • 1 tsp. dill (in bottom of each jar)

    Pack cucumbers into jars.

    Heat vinegar, water and salt. Bring to a rolling boil and pour over cucumbers.
