  • 30 to 36 medium cucumbers
  • 3 c. vinegar
  • 3 c. water
  • 6 Tbsp. salt
  • dill (fresh or canned)
  • mustard seed
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. crystal or granulated alum
  • 1 tsp. pickling spices
  • finish filling can with cold water

    Let set 90 days.

    Heat lids.

    Open and wash through 2 or 3 waters.

    Slice round and cover with 2 cups sugar.

    Stir until dissolved.

    Let set overnight.
