- 1 1/4 lb. ground beef
- 1/3 c. seasoned bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. ketchup
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can consomme
- 2 tsp. powdered dill
Directions

1Mix beef, bread crumbs and ketchup and form into 48 (1-inch) balls.

2Melt butter in frying pan.

3Add meat balls, brown, then remove from pan.

4Remove excess grease, all except for 2 tablespoons.

5In remaining grease, blend in flour and celery salt. Cook until smooth.

6Gradually stir in consomme.

7Cook 6 to 8 minutes over low-medium heat until thick.

8Add dill and meatballs. Serve hot with rice or buttered noodles.
