- 1 c. unbleached flour
- 1 c. cornmeal
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 8 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
- 2 tsp. dried dill
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1 egg
Directions

1In a large bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, salt, bacon and dill.

2In another bowl, combine milk, oil and egg.

3Stir the liquid ingredients into dry.

4Mix just until moistened.

5Spoon batter into greased pans and bake at 425° until tester comes out clean.

6Cool in pans for 10 minutes.

7Serve hot.
