- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
- 2 tsp. dill seed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 unbeaten egg
- 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour

Directions

1Soften yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.

2Heat cottage cheese to lukewarm.

3Put cottage cheese in a large mixing bowl along with sugar, minced onion, butter, dill seed, salt, soda, egg and softened yeast. Mix.

4Slowly stir in flour to form a stiff dough. Let dough rise in a warm place until it has doubled in bulk, about 50 to 60 minutes.

5Stir dough down.
