- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. dill weed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 unbeaten egg
- 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Soften yeast in water; heat cottage cheese until warm.

2Put everything in bowl except flour.

3Add warm cheese.

4Gradually add flour until dough is stiff.

5Cover and let rise until double, about 1 hour.

6Punch down dough.

7Put into a 1 1/2 to 2-quart (8-inch) round greased casserole.

8Let rise 30 to 40 minutes. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.

9After baking, spread with butter and salt the top.
