  • 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
  • 1 whole Fryer Chicken Cut Into Pieces
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 whole Onion, Chopped
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • 2 Tablespoons Flour
  • 1 cup Sour Cream Or Sweet Cream; I Used 35% Cream
  • 1 Tablespoon Chopped Dill

Directions

    Mix flour, salt, and pepper together, add chicken pieces and coat evenly.

    Brown the chicken in the butter on low heat.

    Add water, onion, and garlic.

    Cook on low heat for 40 minutes.

    Blend the flour and cream in a bowl, mix in the dill.

    Now whisk into the chicken in the skillet.

    Make sure you get any little bits that have stuck to the bottom, this gives you that great flavor.

    Heat thoroughly but dont let it boil.

    Remove from heat and serve with fresh new baby potatoes.
