  • 4 pt. size sterilize jars
  • 2 lbs. small fresh green beans
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 4 large cloves garlic (one for each jar)
  • 4 c. water
  • 1/3 c. pickling salt (Kosher)
  • 2 c. white vinegar

Directions

    Stem beans, pack in hot sterile jars;

    add pepper, garlic, sprague of dill;
  3. 3
    heat water, salt and vinegar to a boil.

    Pour over beans and spices in jars;
  5. 5
    seal in a hot water bath:

    when done put jars in corner away from drafts;
  7. 7
    cover with a towel.
