Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 large onion, minced
  • 3 slices bread, torn into crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • dried dill weed
  • 3 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 8 oz. sour cream

Directions

    Mix hamburger, onion, crumbs, salt, pepper, 1 teaspoon dill and 2 tablespoons water.

    Shape into 1-inch meatballs.

    In 12-inch skillet in hot oil, brown meatballs, 1/2 at a time. Remove.

    Into skillet drippings, stir flour and 1 teaspoon dill. Gradually add broth.

    Heat to boiling.

    Return meatballs; bring to boil.

    Reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes.

    Skim off fat; stir in sour cream.

    Heat through.
