- 1 c. warm water
- 2 T. melted butter or margarine
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 1/4 c. white flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 t. salt
- 3 t. yeast
Directions

1Combine yeast and water.

2When yeast bubbles, add butter and beaten egg.

3Add dry ingredients and mix well.

4Cover and let rise until double in bulk.

5Punch down, make into rolls.

6Place in greased pan, let rise again until doubled.

7Bake at 375° for 20-25 minutes.

8Can also be done in a bread maker.

9Just follow manufacturer directions.
