Ingredients

  • 1 c. warm water
  • 2 T. melted butter or margarine
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/4 c. white flour
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 t. salt
  • 3 t. yeast

Directions

    Combine yeast and water.

    When yeast bubbles, add butter and beaten egg.

    Add dry ingredients and mix well.

    Cover and let rise until double in bulk.

    Punch down, make into rolls.

    Place in greased pan, let rise again until doubled.

    Bake at 375° for 20-25 minutes.

    Can also be done in a bread maker.

    Just follow manufacturer directions.
