Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt, scant
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 c. warm milk
- 4 c. Better for Bread white flour*
- 3 c. whole wheat flour
Directions

1Melt shortening in saucepan with warm milk.

2Put in large mixer bowl; add yeast, eggs, sugar and salt.

3Mix.

4Add small amounts of flour to make soft dough.

5Remove beaters; add more flour until dough can be handled.

6Knead.

7Shape into rolls. Place in two Pam sprayed 9 X 13 pans.

8Let rise.

9Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.

11*May add potato flakes, mashed potatoes, or wheat germ as part of the flour.
