  • 1 (15 oz.) pkg. Oreo cookies
  • 1/3 c. butter, melted
  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. instant pistachio or vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 qt. vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 2 drops green food coloring (optional)
  • 8 oz. frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions

    Put melted butter in 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Crush all but 6 cookies, put in pan and spread and pat firmly.
  3. 3
    Mix milk, pudding mix and food coloring for 3 to 4 minutes until thickened.

    Add ice cream. Stir until smooth., Pour over cookies.

    Spread whipped topping on ice cream mixture.
  6. 6
    Crush remaining cookies and sprinkle on top. Refrigerate.
