- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 4 1/2 c. Bran Buds or flakes
- 3 c. buttermilk
- 2 1/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. margarine or butter
- 3 eggs
- 3 3/4 c. flour
- 3 3/4 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Pour boiling water over Bran Buds or flakes.

2Add buttermilk and let cool.

3Cream together sugar and margarine or butter.

4Beat eggs and then add to bran mixture.

5Sift flour, soda and salt.

6Mix all together.

7Fill greased muffin pan 2/3 full.

8Bake 22 minutes at 350°.

9Batter will keep in refrigerator 2 weeks.
