- 2 c. brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. white sugar
- 2 c. salad oil
- 4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts)
- 1 1/2 c. quick oats
- 2 tsp. soda
- 2 c. coconut
- 6 oz. pkg. chocolate or butterscotch chips
Directions

1Cream brown and white sugar, eggs and the salad oil in one pan. In another pan, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, nuts, oats, soda, coconut and chips.

2Combine the two mixtures in a large pan (dishpan).

3Drop by small spoon on a greased cookie sheet.

4Bake at 325° for 10 to 12 minutes.

5This will make 15 to 18 dozen cookies (ideal for Vacation Bible School or a party where several cookies are needed).
