   Boil sugar, water and syrup until it forms a hard ball (when dropped in cold water).

   Beat the egg whites.

   Put vanilla in the egg whites after they are beaten.

   Add a little of the egg white mixture to the sugar mixture until it is all combined.

   Drop on wax paper from spoon.
