   Cook first four ingredients until hard ball stage (without stirring).

   Remove from heat.

   Beat egg whites immediately for about 2 to 3 minutes.

   Pour hot syrup over whites slowly and beat until glossy look becomes dull.

   Add vanilla.

   Drop on buttered pan or countertop by teaspoonfuls.
