  • 1/4 c. water
  • 2 egg whites, beat stiff
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. nuts, chopped

Directions

    Cook sugar, Karo and water over medium heat until the hard ball stage.

    Remove from heat and gradually beat syrup into egg whites.
  3. 3
    Beat until the combined mixture loses gloss and hardens. Drop by teaspoon onto waxed paper.
