Directions

   Mix syrup, water, sugar and salt.

   Cook until mixture forms a soft ball when tested in cold water.

   Pour 1/2 mixture in beaten egg whites, beating all the time.

   Let that mix a few seconds and then add remaining.

   Beat until starts to thicken.

   Add nuts and drop by spoon on wax paper.
