  • 1/2 c. light Karo syrup
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. pecans, chopped

    Cook to hard ball stage, (may use candy thermometer), stirring only until sugar dissolves.

    Meanwhile, beat egg whites until stiff. Gradually
