  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
  • 2 egg whites, beaten stiff
  • 2 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Mix sugar, Karo syrup and water.

    Cook until drop in water forms hard ball.
  3. 3
    Pour hot mixture very slowly into eggs, beating constantly.

    Add vanilla and chopped pecans and beat until mixture thickens.

    Drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper.
