  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • pecan halves

    stirring, to 248°, firm ball stage,

    from heat and pour slowly over the stiffly beaten

    egg whites.

    Add vanilla and continue beating with mixer until

    will hold its shape and loses its gloss.

    Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper.

    Put a pecan half on each spoonful.
