Ingredients

  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 1/4 c. light corn syrup
  • 2/3 c. boiling water
  • 3 egg whites, beaten stiffly
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix sugar, syrup and boiling water.

    Stir until sugar is thoroughly dissolved.

    Cook over low heat until soft ball stage. Pour slowly over stiffly beaten egg whites.

    Add vanilla and pour into buttered pan.

    Cool and cot in squares.
