Ingredients
- 2 c. chopped sweet red pepper
- 2 c. chopped sweet green pepper
- 1 qt. chopped cabbage
- 2 c. chopped cucumbers
- 2 c. chopped onions
- 1/4 c. salt
- 2 qts. cold water
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 2 Tbsp. celer seed
- pickling spice
- 1 qt. vinegar
Directions

1Dissolve salt in 2 qts. cold water.

2Pour over chopped vegetables and let stand for 1 hour.

3Drain.

4Comnbine sugar, vinegar and spices.

5Add vegetables and simmer about 20 minutes. Bring to a boil.

6Pack boiling hot into jars leaving 1/2 inch head space.

7Adjust lids.

8Process 15 minutes in a boiling water bath. Makes 5-6 pints.
