- 1 pint chopped sweet red pepper
- 1 pint chopped sweet green pepper
- 1 qt. chopped cabbage
- 1 pint chopped onions
- 2 hot peppers
- 5 Tbsp. salt
- 4 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 2 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 qt. vinegar
Directions

1Mix vegetables together; cover with salt and let stand overnight.

2Drain, then add spices, sugar and vinegar.

3Pack into sterilized pint jars to within 1/2 inch of top.

4Put on cap, screw band tight.

5Process in boiling water for 10 minutes.

6Yields 5 pints.
