- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. light molasses
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 stick (about 2 Tbsp.) butter
- 1 1/2 qt. popped popcorn
Directions

1Combine all ingredients except popcorn and cook until reaches 290°, measuring with a candy thermometer.

2When the mixture reaches 290°, pour over the popcorn while popcorn is spread out on a cookie sheet.

3Add 2 more tablespoons of butter and mix the popcorn and ingredients together while on cookie sheet.

4Let stand to cool and store in airtight tin.

5Makes 1 1/2 quarts of caramel popcorn.

6Shelf life should be 2 to 3 weeks.
