  • 4 1/2 tsp. unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 c. cold lemon juice
  • 1 (20 oz.) can unsweetened sliced apples, well drained
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 2/3 c. boiling unsweetened apple juice
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Soften gelatin in cold lemon juice in blender container for 4 minutes.

    Add boiling apple juice and blend on high speed until all gelatin granules are dissolved.

    Add salt, undrained apples, cinnamon and vanilla.

    Blend until smooth and fluffy.

    Fill jars, cover and chill.

    Store in refrigerator.

    Yields about 3 1/4 cups.
