  • 3 slices bread
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Place in top of double boiler, sugar on top of this and place slice of bread, buttered.

    Pour over this the beaten eggs and milk, salt and vanilla.

    Do not stir.

    The sugar makes the sauce. Cook 1 hour.
