  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 6 oz. chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    Combine flour, baking soda and salt.

    Bring to a boil the water, sugar and butter.

    Remove from heat.

    Then add chocolate chips and vanilla.

    Stir until dissolved and mixture is smooth. Beat in 2 eggs, one at a time.

    Add to flour mixture gradually. Bake at 325° for 30 to 35 minutes.

    Cool completely.

    Cut into bars.
