- 1 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 unbeaten egg
- 1 c. cornflakes, crushed
- 1 c. quick oats
- 1/2 c. coconut
Directions

1Sift flour with soda and salt; set aside.

2Add both sugars gradually to shortening, creaming well.

3Blend in egg and vanilla. Mix well.

4Add dry ingredients and mix well.

5Stir in cornflakes, oats and coconut.

6Shape by teaspoon into balls.

7Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

8Flatten with bottom of a glass dipped in flour.

9When cookies are cool, put two cookies together with a good fudge frosting.
